After School Nature Art: French Painters @ Blue Heron Nature Preserve
Feb 17 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Be outside after school! In the woods, wetlands and gardens of Blue Heron Nature Preserve, we’ll work with innovative drawing and painting techniques the French Masters used to capture nature. During these lengthening days, we’ll learn how to draw flowers, birds and other signs of spring approaching. We may even render a sunset or two as we experiment with techniques like pointillism and cubism while expressing our own voices through painting. Register online at www.bhnp.org. Program lasts for 6 weeks and is open to elementary and middle school aged students.
