Open Arms Child Development Center is a neighborhood preschool and Chastain Park supporter. They are hosting their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10th from 10:30 am to 2 pm and invite the neighborhood to join in on the fun. Open Arms is located at 4000 Roswell Road (between Goodwill and Pike’s Nursery).
Wristbands are $5 and include pony rides, petting zoo, beauty station, pirate make-over, inflatable bouncy houses, go fish, matchbox races, and more.
They are still accepting donations for their silent auction. All proceeds are used to benefit the children directly as it allows them to provide additional programs, like Mr. Greg’s Musical Madness, to the center. If you know a business interested in donating – contact Melissa Neubauer at email@example.com
Join Chief Turner, Dave Wilkinson of Atlanta Police Foundation and City Councilwoman Yolanda Adrean to discuss a proposed plan to add security cameras and license plate readers to Buckhead Neighborhoods.
The benefit Is back – Rock Chastain! Please join us Friday night, October 16th, from 7PM-11PM at Chastain Park Amphitheater for our annual event benefiting the Chastain Park Conservancy.
The speculated sold out show will begin with Georgia’s own Michelle Malone, an American Rock guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer. Following Michelle will be well-renowned Chuck Leavell and Friends! Chuck Leavell is a well-established artist in the music industry. His piano and keyboard work has been heard on the works of Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, The Black Crowes, George Harrison, The Allman Brothers Band, The Indigo Girls, Blues Traveler, Train, Montgomery-Gentry, Lee Ann Womack and many, many more.
