Welcome!
Since 1978, the Chastain Park Civic Association (CPCA) helps make Chastain Park a great place to live, work, and play. Our members and board are your friends and neighbors, and we are here to serve, improve, and protect Chastain Park. Our annual membership dues are critical in helping the CPCA deliver on our three-fold mission: advocacy, safety, and community building.

WHY BECOME A MEMBER?
Since 1978 the Chastain Park Civic Association (CPCA) has helped make Chastain Park a great place to live, work and play. Our members and board are your friends and neighbors. Contributions to 501(c)(4) organizations, such as the CPCA, generally are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but we are all unpaid volunteers, here to serve, improve, and protect Chastain Park. Your $195 annual membership dues are critical in helping the CPCA in our three-fold mission: advocacy, safety, and community building. 100% of the fees are used to support those efforts. Membership runs through each calendar year.
End of Year Report
Public Safety:
Under the leadership of Debra Wathen, Chair of the Buckhead Council of Neighborhoods, security patrols manned by off-duty Atlanta Police Officers now travel our commercial corridors. My office made a significant financial contribution to these patrols which was followed by a significant contribution from the City of Atlanta.
Affordable Housing:
Under the leadership of Denise Starling, the Employer-Assisted Workforce Housing program is now underway. This program enables employees to be offered financial assistance to live in Buckhead at a reduced rate. My office made a significant contribution to this program which was followed by a significant contribution from the City of Atlanta.
Transportation/Resurfacing:
Under the leadership of the Buckhead Community Improvement District, Jim Durrett and Tony Peters, several Buckhead streets have been resurfaced as follows: West Paces Ferry, Rilman Road (and all its cul-de-sacs), as well as the portions of Andrews Drive, Chatham Road, and West Andrews Drive that abutt West Paces Ferry Rd.
The City’s Moving Atlanta Forward program has resurfaced Blackland Road, Putnam Road, the West Wesley Loop and sections of the abutting streets, as well as the section of Howell Mill from West Wesley to Moores Mill.
